Soft teen comedy with a now-tired story about the rivalry between the prettiest girl in class (Megan Fox) and the equally beautiful newcomer (Lindsay Lohan). In everything the film seems to be a prelude to the slightly better Lohan vehicle Mean Girls (2004). In spite of the two beauties, the most beautiful roles are reserved for Alison Pill and Carol Kane.

Half.

Especially watched because there are some actors walking around who were popular in the past. I had only overlooked this film in that respect, but a Megan Fox and a Lindsay Lohan attract me enough to remain a little fascinated. Especially the first name I have recently come to appreciate more.

The film is very aimed at children, so the humor and the setting are there too. Exaggerated characters, childish jokes, chewed-up cliches and a lot of movement between locations. There is always something happening in this film and the fairly bombastic approach also makes it difficult to call the film really boring in terms of progress.

The acting is good, but other than that, this movie is a bit of a letdown. Adventure enough, but a real flow is often lacking. This probably has to do with the fact that the film is not so ambitiously put together. I enjoyed myself, but couldn't really find anything else that convinced. Nice to see the actors so young I would say.

A typical Disney movie, but Lindsay Lohan is cut out for the job. The film itself does not do much special, but it is a feel good film with colorful figures. As a viewer you are left with a smile on your face. You also notice that Lohan is having fun here. You have to like the genre, but in itself there is not much wrong with the film.
