Reasonable but too cliche for words sometimes.

There is indeed a relaxed atmosphere. You are completely tired of the song by the end of the film, but it still has something cheerful. How everyone goes completely wild on that song caused some eyebrows raised, but that must be a "that's how they did it back then".

The fall in these kinds of films is always a lot less interesting, since it just about breaks the only positive thing about the film (the light-hearted atmosphere). It's all too caricatured for drama, so don't even start.

I also found it very strange how the finale becomes a romance, while in the rest of the film it just served as a sideline. The whole movie is about the band, the band, and the song, but when the movie comes to an end it suddenly has to be about love .

Furthermore, it also takes a bit too long and I don't really like the whole 60s atmosphere, but within that concept it is a fairly entertaining film that doesn't really irritate.

Nice to see those young faces. Steve Zahn is always entertaining to me, Hanks is variable and Tyler is still a beautiful woman.

The film looks pretty good, and although it threatens to get a bit boring at times, this is quickly resolved. Sometimes it seems like the movie doesn't know which direction it wants to go, I think that's the main problem.

I was soon done with the music, after a few times I knew it and I couldn't hear it anymore. In addition, it often felt dusty and dry, it could have been a bit more refreshing. Or at least the jokes, which weren't always successful either. Unfortunately.

A little piece made with love.

I had looked up this film because I stumbled on YouTube about someone who is completely into fonts, made films about how fonts are often used in films that are completely wrong in terms of time, but mentioned this film as an example where it was good. I didn't really look at the fonts while watching, but you can tell there was a lot of attention for the props and stuff, so that's a sign that the film was made with care.

I was disappointed in the story. These kinds of coming of age stories are a dime a dozen, and they don't mean much here either. Who am I, what can I do, how do I find my way in the grown-up world, budding love -yawn -. However, I was gradually won over by the characters and the acting. Not so bad. For example, pay attention to the doorman at the end, that is quite a nice role and also nicely completed.

It's just a shame that Hanks has cast someone who looks a lot like himself for the lead role. vanity spout.
