Betty Anne Waters is a working mom who turns her life upside down by going to law school. This is to represent her brother, who is falsely accused of murder, but has no more options due to the system to appeal.

Reasonable.
Sam Rockwell does what it does best, acting. What an actor that is. One of the best working today. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything with Swank in this film, she plays too much a character who is continuously uptight with an accent which also didn't sit well with me. Minnie Driver, however, caught my eye positively. Plot ripples along and is nothing surprising. Directing is okay, but it doesn't take the film to a higher level either. What remains is a film that is far from bad, but one that you will soon forget.

Enjoyed the acting of Hilary Swank again. Beautiful true drama film, which managed to hold my attention well. Sam Rockwell will always be that crazy guy from Te Green Mile, but Clea DuVall was a very pleasant surprise as there is no credit on the cover of the bluray.

An interesting story in itself, but as a film this is very minimal, because there is mainly registration; everything revolves around the plot. Good acting by both Swank and Rockwell and that plot is quite interesting as said, but I expect more from a film in the end. 2*.
