Teenager Aza Holmes struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder. She has no control over the constant disturbing thoughts that creep into her head. When a billionaire disappears without a trace, she goes looking for him. She reconnects with Davis, for whom she has feelings. Aza is confronted with issues about love, friendship and happiness.

Good film about a teenage girl who struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder about bacteria. There may be a bit too many side plots at the beginning, but this makes the film seem fresh. The film manages to get into the head of the main character at some moments and the dialogues are also good. Furthermore, a nice soundtrack and Isabela Merced and Cree Cicchino do it with enough enthusiasm.

Beautiful and strong drama. The story is recognizable and gives a beautiful picture of someone who is plagued by an anxiety disorder. The effect is also very good. Lightheartedness alternates with drama and dilemmas in which the viewer is taken into the mindset that the leading actress is confronted with. Merced plays an excellent role in this. The other actors also do excellent work. Recommended. 4.0

I thought it was all mediocre. The interactions and characters feel scripted. The story development is clichéd. I thought Merced's acting was fine. Incidentally, Turtles all the way down shows a more serious form of germ phobia than classic OCD (you don't see any ritual actions).
